Promoting country careers to the future medical workforce

Our ambassadors are a group of medical students and junior doctors from universities and tertiary hospitals throughout Western Australia. They promote working in rural Western Australia to their peers by providing them with information about our programs, rural opportunities and Student Rural Health Clubs.

Interested in becoming a Rural Health West Ambassador?

We are currently recruiting medical students and junior doctors who are passionate about rural health and want the opportunity to share information about Rural Health West, the programs we offer and rural opportunities.

To be eligible for the program you must be:

  • a medical student currently studying at Curtin University, The University of Notre Dame Australia Fremantle or The University of Western Australia; or
  • a junior doctor (PGY 1 to PGY 3) currently working within Western Australia.

You can register your interest in the program by emailing detailing why you believe you would make a great ambassador with a copy of your current résumé.
